About the house in Zadole

There is a charming valley in the Izera hills,
It lies in the Oak Grove. ( Debowy Gaj )

In this valley stands a solid, spacious guest house. There is also plenty of greenery all around: meadows, orchards, forests, and gardens. Many creatures live there - wild and domestic, hooved, winged, and furry.

It guarantees breathtaking views, ideal conditions for relaxation,
away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Equipment

The cottage offers 4 bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen (with a functioning tiled stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher), and a bathroom.

There is a place for a bonfire, for "lying on the grass," a horse stable, forests for walking, a bicycle path almost next to the fence, and plenty of historic castles in the area to explore.

This is a rural cottage in (very) old construction, which has its advantages and disadvantages. We mow the grass with horses, and the electricity is from solar panels. We strive to be close to nature, so not everything is perfect or ideal.

We kindly ask our guests to familiarize themselves with the following "house rules":
  1. Please refrain from smoking cigarettes inside the house. It's pleasant to smoke under the pergola or roof.
  2. Leave the house, yard, and surroundings tidy. Sort your waste before disposing of it. If you have leftover kitchen scraps, you can give them to the hens, they will appreciate it. Garbage bins are located by the barn. If your pet makes a mess in an area where someone might "step in," please clean up after them.
  3. Do not hesitate to report any malfunctions or damages.
  4. Respect the usage of water and electricity. Close taps tightly and turn off lights. Contrary to appearances, the well is not bottomless, especially during dry periods.
  5. The area is home to both domestic and wild animals. Respect their habitat! Do not harm, scare, or threaten them. Slow down on the road in our valley.
  6. Never feed animals without the owners' knowledge! Do not approach the horse herd on your own. Pet and scratch them through the fence while exercising caution. Remember, even the sweetest pony has teeth that can bite a finger...
  7. Exploring the nearby orchards and meadows is encouraged and recommended! However, if you find a gate closed, close it behind you, and if it's open, leave it as you found it. There might always be someone working with the animals at any time of day or night.
  8. All gifts of nature are at your disposal - fruits, mushrooms, herbs... Enjoy!
  9. If you run out of wood for a cozy fire, there is plenty all around; take as much as you need.
  10. During winter, be cautious when lighting the fireplace to avoid overheating the water.
  11. Please do not throw anything into the well.
  12. Keep calm and make yourself a bouquet of wildflowers.

Attention! You are in the countryside - nettles might be scorching, cows sometimes smell, horses occasionally neigh, flies always buzz, and bees consistently sting - but remember! They were here first; we are their guests :)
